Leadership Sub-Committee Goals
Mission Statement
To research, define, provide materials for, and
implement a Leadership Development Program for use at
all levels based on the needs of our department
Specific Goals
To identify what the perception of good leadership
is within CIT by defining, distributing, and analyzing
an opinion survey with the results to be used as a
guide toward building a Leadership Development
Program
To research, identify, and compile a list
of five educational activities geared towards improving
the identified qualities of good leadership within CIT
for distribution to anyone in the department who is
interested in improving their leadership skills
To research and identify a leadership
self-evaluation for distribution to anyone in the
department who is interested in identifying their
leadership skill level
To research, identify, and distribute five
articles that describe and discuss the qualities of a
good leader for the purpose of raising the level of
awareness about what constitutes good leadership
To research, identify, and distribute
information on techniques for providing constructive
feedback when dealing with effective and ineffective
leaders
